I remember getting ready to leave for vacation one year and having the zipper in my carry on luggage splitting. Luckily my friends had extra luggage and at the last minute I was able to re-pack. When I came home I immediately looked into getting a quality piece of luggage. I didn’t want to have to spend a fortune on travel luggage, and luckily I found out I didn’t have too. Buy travel luggage based on the way you travel. If you never fly your luggage won’t be tossed around by baggage handlers, so you don’t need as strong a piece of luggage as someone who flies does.
