Your dentist can detect gum disease during dental visits and can be treated early. That’s why a regular dental hygiene regimen is an essential in having healthy gums and teeth. Teeth should be brush at least twice a day, flossed daily and brush the tongue. Soft bristled toothbrush is recommended to avoid toothbrush abrasion and gum irritation. Also, using natural oral care products are effective in preventing gum infection that is cause by irritation from toothpastes and mouthwashes for they are effective in preventing bacteria without harming the gums with the harsh chemical ingredients.
