When you have a poor oral hygiene, bacteria will create their niche if you allowed living and building up and forming into plaque. So you know plaque produces toxins and acids that cause inflammation and swollen gum’s. The food particles that are left in the mouth especially in between the teeth and hard to reach areas make the mouth as the haven of bacteria. By maintaining a good and proper oral hygiene bacteria may be prevented and as well as gum disease and infection. Though, it is still necessary to see the dentist at least twice a year to have a dental assessment. Because at any unfamiliar symptoms of gum disease may be detected by the dentist and early treatment and prevention may be done to stop the progress to more serious condition.
