There are quite a number of etiquettes to keep in mind when it comes to wedding invitations. Like for example: Invitations should generally be sent 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. If inviting an entire family, address the invitation “Mr. and Mrs. John Smith,” and include the first names of the children on the line below. If you want adults only at your wedding, leave the children’s names off the invitation. You can specify a date to RSVP by. If sending an RSVP card, be sure to include return postage. And lastly, Children over the age of 18 should get their own invitation, even if they still live at home. In any situation, it pays to be mindful of your guests’ needs and feelings. That is the best way to prevent hard feelings and uncomfortable situations.
